Kimbap's Journey Blog #1

Kimbap started her journey out with me, meowmeowbutt! Before I moved to Seoul, I lived right between Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

First stop is downtown Baltimore, MD. Known for it's Blue Crabs, Old Bay, and the Chesapeake Bay herself.

We show Kimbap just how many fish there are in the sea at the National Aquarium. You can see more pictures of the National Aquarium here!

Kimbap, get out of there!

In the background you can see the Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Tower, Baltimore's tallest building. Way back when, it used to have a giant Seltzer bottle on top of it! Now it just tells time. :P

The famous poet Edgar Allan Poe, while born in Boston, made his home and set down his roots in Baltimore. This statue created of Poe by Sir Moses Ezekiel was finished in 1916. Poe looks a little exasperated to see Kimbap at his foot, but that didn't stop her from trying to make friends.

A few days later, we take Kimbap to get some piping hot food. This was a going away party/dinner my friends threw me before I left to come to Seoul to work for GoPets. Pictured here is an onion on fire. Yum!

Run away!

Her journey ends with a trip to Washington D.C., the capital of the United States. Here is the Washington Monument, a very large monument for a very small Kimbap.

And here is the Smithsonian Information Center, commonly known as just "The Castle." Not much here for Kimbap, but it does look pretty!

Kimbap's going presidential! We end our trip at the nation's Capitol Building

I hope you enjoyed Kimbap's first stop! Stay tuned for our next Kimbap blog soon. :)
